Xi, Biden arrive in Peru for APEC summit amid Trump-era diplomatic uncertainty

US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Peru Thursday for the APEC summit, likely their final meeting under diplomatic uncertainty following Donald Trump’s election. Biden’s Air Force One landed outside Lima, where Xi met Peruvian President Dina Boluarte ahead of scheduled talks between the two leaders.
