Thousands rally in Seoul as South Korean president faces second impeachment vote

Seoul police said at least 200,000 demonstrators had gathered outside parliament in South Korea’s capital Saturday as lawmakers began voting on a second impeachment motion over President Yoon Suk Yeol’s failed attempt to rule by martial law. The right-wing president has vowed to fight on despite his plummeting levels of public support.
